Hi everyone, This is a noteworthy newsletter drop for a couple of reasons. First, we have finally reached Edition #100! I remember the first edition that was written just over two years ago; I can’t believe we have gotten this far. I want to thank everyone for coming along and supporting the journey. I especially am looking to give a shout out to Aimee who has helped tremendously behind the scenes for quite some time.
Brandon, I can’t express enough gratitude for your time and commitment in this collection and wealth of information . I work in research and know how tedious this can be. I have come to depend on your assemblage of articles with accurate interpretations not only for myself, but to share with treating physicians, staff education and information for my family to better understand what is going on. Keep fighting the good fight on informing us with knowledge- knowledge is power in the fight for treatments and hopeful cures for the debilitating, misunderstood, complex disease.
Thank you. Incredible information and effort. I am cognitively challenged, and I believe I must fit all three phenotypes (mentioned in one machine learning article). My brain is swollen. I tried to learn notion. But I can barely spend an hour answering emails much less a new computer program. Any quick easy way to learn? Or someday the "plain language" version of these resources? I was a home visitor/early educator for 30 years, before disabled with LC. Most of my work was with families with low resources and literacy. We learned to communicate important information with simple language. I love what you do. Wish my weary brain could keep up. Thanks again!
Re: Notion i was actually going to put together a short video guide on how to use it. The interface seems complex but it is quite straightforward once you get a couple of key concepts down.
Excellent. I am still capable of learning, and in some ways have all the time in the world to do so. Disabled with LC, full time saving my life, aren’t we all? Need to find accessibility tools and programs that allow my struggling brain to keep track of research. Just looked up Metformin on your Notion page. Super simple. Will use the articles to advocate for it if I get reinfected. Take care and looking forward to your how to (Notion).
Ylan, if you go to my most recent post and scroll down to the After-party section, there’s info on a study out of Dartmouth that’s recruiting long haulers with lingering cognitive issues. I’ve signed up to be in the study myself. They provide 9 weeks of cognitive coaching for free.
Wonderful. Actually I had my first meeting with my HOBSCOTCH coach this morning. Great (and tired) minds think alike. Your post/substack is informative and engaging. I had to skim because I am about to join a LC expressive art support group. Even so…thank you for sharing. I’ll spend more time on the Tonic for sure!
Brandon and Amy, thank you for all that you’ve done here. You are the go-to source for easy to understand info on all of the relevant studies. I also gave you a shout-out in my last post (my one year anniversary post), because I also hit 1000 subscribers and nearly half have come as a result of your recommending my newsletter. THANK YOU! 🧡
Late, late, late again am I. But better late than not at all. Belated congratulations on reaching 100 issues. The amount of work you have put in to create this corpus must have been astronomical. Also many thanks for the database- literally a gift to the world.

Thank you, Linda! I am glad we could be of assistance.
